Failed Surgery for Implant

Hello Ali,

After being in the chair for 2 and 1/2 hours, my dental surgery failed. My DDS said that he had hit a blood vessel in my cheek bone. It was a very big vessel and after three different techniques he had to discontinue the surgery. We’re going to do it again in a couple months after this heals up. Have you ever heard of such a thing before? Should I go somewhere for a 2nd opinion? Should this blood vessel issue be of any concern. Am I at a higher risk for a stroke or anything if they continue to poke around up there. Just a little afraid.
