About three weeks ago I had implants put in one implant in my lower left jaw When I went back to get the stitches out he showed me the x-ray and said D gap between the two teeth were the implant was was bigger than he thought and I needed to get another one in I went to my dentist a different doctor and he said that the oral surgeon put it in wrong and he is just going to put another one in because he did wrong It makes me mad he was not upfront and said he did wrong instead saying that I needed to implants Questions are should I have the other implant removed or is it OK to keep it the belt they both say it’s OK to keep the other one in since this oral surgeon is obviously not good show I go to a different one he is going to put the other one in at no charge should I ask him to give me all my money back and go to a different dentist do they usually do that does this happen very often where is this unique

You should have a detailed discussion with your dentist before going for any dental treatment!

    Hi,

I think you need to find out more information from either your oral surgeon or another dentist. Ask if this original implant is in the best position and how much room there is for a second implant beside it. Is there is sufficient room for the implant crowns to be placed on top of the implants and will they look good? If the original implant is in a decent position and your oral surgeon is prepared to do the second implant free of charge then it might be worth you staying with them, but I can understand that you might not trust them.

I agree with Dubai Dental that you need to have a detailed discussion with your dentist before you have any more treatment. Make sure you fully understand and are completely happy with any further treatment suggested.

    Best regards,

    Ali
