I am Dr.Prasanth.T, MDS, MFDS RCPS(Glasgow), MOMS RCPS(Glasgow) FDS RCS Ed having post graduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and implantology. I am practicing in MAYBA Clinic, Kochi, Kerala India for the past five years. I have been certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow & Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh .I was a teaching faculty in India and abroad for almost 8 years.

How long have you been in business?
I have an experience of over 18 years in dentistry with a particular focus on Implantology and Full Mouth Rehabilitation.
What services do you offer?
Entire range of dental services we offer, but we are particularly focusing on immediate loading dental implants; both conventional & basal implants. We offer crown and bridge works, root canal treatment,Laser treatments, clear aligners, Complete Dentures, Smile designing.
In addition to this we offer Hair transplantation,Laser Hair removal, Laser skin rejuvenation etc
How many dental implant procedures have you done?
I have completed more than 3000 dental implants and more than 90 percent of our implant practice in the last 7 years is immediate loading dental implants. Through meticulous training and quality improvement our success rate has reached more than 98 percent.

We have the state of the art Dental center with highest standards of care and infection control protocols. All our Dental implants are done by qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. All our dental professionals are qualified from A grade Dental Schools and are young energetic experienced with modern ideas and training. In addition to this Crown and Bridge work is done in a United States FDA & European CE accredited lab.
Where do most of your patients come from?
We have patients from India and abroad, particularly Middle East, USA, Europe, Singapore etc.
What procedures do you typically recommend and perform?
Depending on the clinical situation we decide the treatment which gives a long lasting solution. We traditionally recommend immediate loading implants We are specialized full mouth rehabilitation. We are not a fan of all on four technique.
What type of implants does your clinic use?
Nobel Biocare (Sweden) is the principal brand we recommend. We have ADIN dental implants, Noris Medical Implants & Zygomatic Implants. All are US FDA certified.
BOI – Basal Osseointegrated implants, KOS & BCS implants, These are CE certified.
Please give me a summary of the steps in the process of getting an implant at your clinic.
Initial online consultation with an OPG X ray , photographs, medical conditions are analysed and preliminary agreement is reached on the type and no of implants.
After the consultation in our clinic and analyzing the scans final agreement regarding the type and no of implants will be reached and surgery is scheduled. After the surgery final prosthesis will be delivered within a 3 to 7 days time frame
Can you please provide a quick description of the surgical procedure at your clinic?
On the day of surgery adequate surgical preparation is done on face & mouth.
Most patients receive adequate local anesthesia with or without mild sedation for the procedure. Dental implant procedure can last one to several hours depending on the number of implants. For most of the patients abutments will be fixed on the same date. Initial prosthesis will be delivered after that.
How much do your procedures cost?
Single implant cost between 600 to 900 USD.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation costs 8000 to 16000 USD
Root Canal Treatment 400 to 700 USD
Dental Crown 80 to 400 USD
What payment methods do you accept? Do you offer financing?
We accept all major currencies like USD, Euro, British Pound , UAE Dhirham, Saudi Riyal, OMR.
Master Card and Visa Cards are also accepted.
Financing is not offered at present in our clinic.
How many appointments are required to get one or two implants?
If you are coming with all Xrays and ncessary investigations we need minimum 3 appointments with a duration 3to 5 days for implants with crowns. Shorter duration are possible but will incur additional lab costs.
How long is the healing time like for patients who get dental implants?
Most of the patients can get dental implants with full set of crowns within 10 days duration.
After the implant surgery patients should be careful for 3 to six months time period for adequate osseo integration and healing.
What do you advise your patients to do if they have a problem with their implant?
We provide life time guarantee for our implants provided adequate maintenance is done for your implants. For dental crowns and bridges 10 to 15 years depending on the type of crowns
