Please give me a summary of the steps in the process of getting an implant at your clinic.

An implant is a synthetic tooth root in the shape of a post that is surgically placed into the jawbone. The “root” is usually made of titanium: the same material used in many replacement hips and knees, and a metal that is well-suited to pairing with human bone. A replacement tooth is then fixed to the post. The tooth can be either permanently attached or removable. Permanent teeth are more stable and feel more like natural teeth.

How much do your procedures cost?

Will discuss with the patient upon consultation.

What payment methods do you accept?

Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover, Cash, Check, Care Credit Financing

How many appointments are required to get one or two implants?

Will Discuss with the patient upon consultation

What do advise your patients to do if they have a problem with their implant?

If you have a problem with an implant, please call our office. We guarantee your implant if you keep up your regular scheduled maintenance appointments. Dental implants have the highest success rate of any implanted surgical device. Titanium’s special property of fusing to bone, called osseointegration (“osseo” – bone; “integration” – fusion or joining with), is the biological basis of dental implant success. That is because when teeth are lost, the bone that supported those teeth is lost too. Placing dental implants stabilizes bone, preventing its loss. Along with replacing lost teeth, implants help maintain the jawbone’s shape and density. This means they also support the facial skeleton and, indirectly, the soft tissue structures, gum tissues, cheeks and lips.
