Summary of the steps in the procedure?

1. Complimentary consultation so that we confirm ability to perform procedure.
2. Surgical placement-takes about an hour without complications of bleeding or swelling, occasionally some discomfort.
3. Wait one month and place abutment, impression and make temp.
4. Two weeks later put in final restoration.

Patient is given anesthesia, radio surg is used to cut hole in soft tissue-this approach eliminates need for sutures and minimizes bleeding. Drills are used to prepare site, implant is tapped into place and patient is dismissed.

What do advise your patients to do if they have a problem with their implant?

If it is loose the patient needs to call so we can check it. If the implant does not take from surgery, we try placing it again at no charge. IF it fails we never make the crown. If the implant succeeds, we may crown and there is a one year warranty.
