Dr. Wilkinson attended the University of California, Irvine and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Loma Linda University. He decided to become a dentist because it allowed him to work with his hands while also expanding his love for science. He says that the “instant gratification” of seeing someone’s smile cared for is both professionally fulfilling and personally rewarding.

What procedures do you typically recommend and perform?
We’ll start you out with an evaluation to see whether the condition and amount of bone in your mouth can support an implant. Our 3D imaging system allows us to take detailed measurements and carefully plan out your surgery. You’ll discuss your goals with Dr. Wilkinson so that we can decide on the right restorative solution.
During the surgery, we’ll keep you as comfortable as possible with anesthetic and with sedation dentistry options. It’s easier than having a tooth pulled! We will see you for several post-operative visits to ensure that everything is healing properly. Once your implant is fully integrated, we will affix the final restoration.

At Shallowford Smiles, we recommend that our healthy patients have a preventive dental cleaning and exam every six months
To guarantee a successful implant surgery, we don’t just guess where it should go with a 2-dimensional x-ray. We use computer-guided techniques to make for shorter and less-invasive surgeries. The Carestream 3D Cone Beam Imaging System gives us a clear picture of your jaw and helps us determine the need for any bone grafting. Carestream CAD/CAM technology is essential to accurate implant placement and flawless restoration.
How much do your procedures cost?
For individual missing teeth, single dental implants are commonly topped with a crown. This beautiful and solid restoration will make your implant look like a natural tooth. We’re currently running a special for $2499 for a single tooth implant placement and crown.

We accept all types of debit and credit card. At Shallowford Smiles, we offer a variety of payment methods to make your dental dreams an easy, affordable reality. We accept checks, debit and credit cards, and even offer a 5% cash discount on treatments that are paid for at least one week in advance.
