Dr. Sorenson’s strong academic research background makes him stand out from other dentists, and provides his patients with valuable technical insight. Dr. Sorenson embarked in scientific disciplines with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bethel University in 2001. He next earned a Masters in Biology, and then his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, from the University of Minnesota while he was employed there as a scientist. He completed his DDS on a full scholarship. During the many years of his studies, Dr. Sorenson received numerous rewards and accolades for his academic skill, professionalism and research.

Dr. Sorenson’s passion for dentistry education does not end there. He is currently working on his PhD in Oral Biology! In addition to practicing dentistry, he completes 80-100 hours of continuing education annually. The national average is only 25 hours! In the Fall of 2015, he completed an implant dentistry fellowship. Dr. Sorenson has advanced clinical training for digital dentistry and orthodontics. He served on the Children’s Health Care Committee for the Minnesota Dental Association.

We have done above 40 dental procedure with 90% success rate.

What procedures do you typically recommend and perform?

Dr. Sorenson is one of the few dentists in the area that surgically places dental implants in his own office, instead of referring you elsewhere for the surgical phase. Titanium posts act as artificial “tooth roots”, offering a permanent anchor for your new tooth, bridge or denture.

How many appointments are required to get one or two implants?

It is depend upon the condition of Gum and teeth but in maximum cases it does not take more then 4 appointments.

How long is the healing time?

Approx 15 days to 20 days
