HAVE IMPLANT SUPPORTED BOTTOM DENTURE. WHEN NEW, DENTURE WAS HARD TO GET IN AND OUT BECAUSE THE SEAL WAS TIGHT ON THE 2 IMPLANTS IN MY JAW AS THEY FIT TIGHTLY INTO THE O-RINGS IN THE DENTURE ITSELF. NOW THE O-RINGS ARENT HOLDING TIGHTLY ANYMORE. DO I NEED NEW O-RINGS? GOT THE DENTURES JULY 1ST. SO IS THIS TO BE EXPECTED? O-RINGS NEED REPLACING ON A REGULAR BASIS WHEN THE LOOSEN UP?
It is advisable to get your teeth checked by a dentist. The guidance and treatment of a professional dental surgeon is indispensable for better oral health.
The O-rings on an implant supported denture do wear out over time. Contact your dentist for more advice on caring for and maintaining your dentures as they will be able to tell you how frequently the O-rings should be replaced. This should be a very straightforward job.
